Best place to go for Coffee even a Smoothie along with a quick bite to eat. Hard not to find something yummy to eat here. My go to for foods are the Bagels and Soups. Plus it is connected to a Used Book Store that has a great variety for all ages.

Food is fabulous, from Elliott’s, including desserts like big cookies and other yum-oh. Peruse books while you enjoy breakfast or lunch with a coffee or tea. Baristas are very nice and provide service with a smile.

Such a cool coffee shop. The coffee was delicious, not overly sweet with a nice coffee flavor. The women working there were extremely friendly.

Great coffee shop in the bookstore! Offers dairy free drinks! Drinks for adults and kids. Great friendly and fast service. Drinks were delicious.

Unique and inviting. This joint coffee shop and book store is reminiscent of having a library in your living room. It’s cozy, good selections and love the historical flare. Great for coffee and book lovers!

Up front: always great coffee, simple egg sandwich is delicious (must have bacon!), extremely nice staff, great environment. Update: Bookstore open Tuesday -Thursday 10am to 2pm (see new picture!) Nestled inside the "Postmaster's" office within an old Post Office building, is the boutique coffee cafe; the remainder of the building is a used bookstore. The coffee and service are great. The pastries are equally delicious.

I’ve been coming to the roast office since it first opened. I’ve since moved out of state but every time I come home to visit it’s the first place I stop! The coffee is excellent, the staff is outgoing and friendly, the space is bright and inviting, and the food is amazing!! Highly recommend the southern bagel for vegetarians. Downtown Pinehurst wouldn’t be the same without the Roast Office. They are a pillar of the community!!

If you’re in Pinehurst for a visit, this quaint coffee shop is a must visit on any tourists list. Their seasonal coffee menu begs you to experience something fun + different. The classics are good too, but the team takes pride in creating new + fun coffees. Coffee itself isn’t too acidic if you get the medium roast. The team members are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. This place once was an old post office, and now it’s a bookshop + coffee spot.

Their coffee has been on our mind for 4 years! We stopped here while staying in Pinehurst in 2020 and have been thinking about it since. Everyone is always so kind, and the coffee is great. They have so many different options and unique combinations to choose from. It is always a pleasure getting to stop in for a coffee or some breakfast.
